Pharmaceutical Company ALPHA signs a scientific agreement for funding Cancer treatment scientific research.
ALPHA, Syria's leading pharmaceutical company, signed a scientific agreement with the University of Aleppo for sponsoring and funding scientific research in the field of Cancer treatment in collaboration with The Faculty of Pharmacy and a University in Paris.
This was the first agreement in Syria regarding sponsoring scientific research, which will open the door for better relations between the business and scientific communities.
Sources from ALPHA noted that this step is vital in encouraging scientific research in the country as it will push private companies to increase their level of cooperation with Universities.
ALPHA made it clear that, "The University of Aleppo is ready to cooperate with different domestic companies and international institutes to achieve a reputable scientific research apparatus."
